Linas Korta is a video journalist, filmmaker, researcher, and video editor specializing in animals and their exploitation.
His work focuses on investigating the various ways in which animals are used, exploited, or mistreated, both for consumption and entertainment in farms, slaughterhouses, breeding centers, or shows. In adition to this, he has also documented rescues and sanctuaries where animals are freed and cared for.
Linas Korta’s journey began a decade ago as a grassroots activist in different organizations, where he identified the usefulness of his training in audiovisual communication and the potential of images as a tool in the fight for Animal Liberation.

Collaborating closely with various organizations in the Basque Country and around, Linas Korta has actively contributed to denouncing and drawing media attention to animal use, cruelty, and abuse.
During this time, Linas Korta has worked on recording, documenting, hidden camera recording, editing, post-production, and directing various audiovisual projects, both for campaigns and awareness efforts, always centered around the defense of non human animals and with the aim of working towards their liberation.
